Fender Champ 5F1 Amp - Solderability

I decided to build a Fender 5F1 clone amp and started to look into gathering parts. For the turret board, I was looking for lugs and found that nickel, brass and copper ones are usable, and aluminum is not according to the table below from wikipedia.

Rush - Beneath Between and Behind

Another tab from Ultimate Guitar. I like the tabs Kenneth Dale Harris for the Rush songs. Very concise and relatively accurate for my needs. For the chorus, I plan to use open chords and also leave off the last "C" chord in the intro/verse.

Here is a very bad recording of Beneath, Between, and Behind in a studio jam.

Rush - Best I Can

Requested for our next studio session. Clipped this one from Ultimate Guitar. If I have time, I want to learn the solo to pick up some licks from Alex Lifeson early years. In the mean time I will fill with some of my own pentatonic licks. The tab says "B" pentatonic, but perhaps it is "D"?

Here is a studio practice recording of Best I Can.

Noisy Cricket MkII

Here is my vero build from http://tagboardeffects.blogspot.jp/2012/04/noisy-cricket-mkii.html. I plan to install it into a DC power supply enclosure with the guts stripped out. I also want to include a cab sim because I plan to primarily use if with headphones.

Here is the DC Supply Enclosure.

Here is the vero of the Noisy Cricket MKII. I included the headphone out on the same vero on the bottom left. I was trying to decide to build this one or the MXR Headphone amp since I will primarily use it with headphones, but I will try this one first because it can also be used as a 1/2 watt amp.

I also have a vero of a cab sim http://tagboardeffects.blogspot.jp/2012/04/amt-s1-legend.html. I chose this one because I have the parts to complete the build (trannys not mounted yet)

DAM Meathead

DAM Meathead single know fuzz pedal from fx layouts. I was not a big fuzz fan, but found it excellent for The Black Keys - 'Til I Get My Way. I found it particular good for single not playing unlike the ColorSound One Know Fuzz that sounds great with chords and not so much with single notes or solos. Perhaps it is just my particular builds of the pedals. On the way are Meathead Deluxe and Octavia with Oct/Fuzz on-off switch so I can maybe replace this pedal on my board.

Pedal Board Size

Want to buy a travel case for my small pedalboard. It is big enough to mount 4 pedals and my diy  battery power unit. The dimensions are 35x20dx8 like the one below.
