DD-7 Tap Tempo ala DIY

Now that I have manufactured a tap tempo for my RC-3 loop station, I figure I can get one  going for my DD-7.

Here is a nice link on what to do. The key information I am searching for is if it is normally open or normally closed. The RC-3 requires a normally closed, so it would seem that the DD-7 would likewise require normally closed.
