AnalogMan Astrotone Fuzz Clone

Cloned the AstroTone using 2N4401 for Q1 and a BC550B for Q2. First build traded for a Guyatone VT3 Tremolo and an Ernie Ball 25 Volume pedal.

This list of "candidates" may help. It is a compilation of things I have seen on other bulletin boards (Aron Nelson/Jack Orman/R. G. Keen), and my own experience with Japanese and American parts.

Boss Angry Driver JB-2

After selling 3 Broadcast and 1 Echo Dream, I decided to splurge on a real pedal, the Boss Angry Driver. I am thinking of a 3 Boss pedal setup  consisting of CS-3 -> JB-2 -> DD-7. This makes for a simple concise combination not to mention I have a boss carrying case. JB-2 is in transit, so I will upload pics after it arrives. Here is the JB-2 as advertised on cl that I picked up for $140 shipped. The original asking price was $150, but I was able to eke out $10.

Astrotone Clone <-> Boss CS-3 + Boss NS-2

After listing my Astrotone on cl, I was able to trade for 2 pedals, Boss cs3 and ns2. Dan was fishing on the Oceanside pier and met me at Smart & Final at around 8pm. The condition of the Boss pedals are above expectations. I am not sure he realized that the Astrotone was a clone and his research had him thinking it was a germanium fuzz. It is a silicon fuzz, but it sounds really nice so I think he will like it.

2006 Fender Stratocaster Flipper

Another arbitrage Fender Stratocaster. Bought for $275 with Fender logo soft case. It is a 2006 model, however in prestine condition with the protective plastic on the pickguard and backplate.
