Maxon Blubber Wah

Picked up this Wah Pedal on Yahoo Auction for 2500 jpy plus 510 jpy shipping. the input jack was busted, so I could get a nice price on it. I bought a replacement jack for 90 jpy and put install hitch free. Now it works just great. I was thinking of adding a dc jack, but want to keep it stock. I have another Dunlop Cry Baby wah that I will use for moding. I want to add true bypass, input buffer (probably a cornish buffer of klon buffer) and maybe an xotic rc booster and 4 pots. ...But that is for another blog entry. here are the pick of the Maxon Blubber Wah .

Fender Champ Reverb [TC-10R] Made In Japan

Just picked up a Fender Champ with Reverb Made in Japan. I lurk on the craigslist often owners dump their stuff because moving out of the country, etc. This was the case. I bought the amp, pedals, a power supply, and some cables including a Providence LE501 all for 30,000 jpy. Pedals include Boss Flanger BF-2, Turbo Distortion DS-2, Compressor Sustainer CS-3, Dynamic Wah AW-3, Octave OC-2, ProCo Rat, Jim Dunlop Cry Baby, Arion SCH-Z Chorus, and Roland EV-5 expression pedal. Probably will sell most of the Boss pedals and try to get some of the money back from the purchase.

Below is the exact listed ad with original picks. The owner ('Will') was also offering a Fender Squier Strat, but offered to buy just the amp and pedals. He mentioned he will take a trip to the Caribbean with his mother for about half a year so he needed to unload his stuff and vacate his apartment.

Maxon CS-9

Picked up a Maxon CS-9 pedal for 5000 jpy. The owner thought is was not working after testing with a battery. He said the LED did not even light up. I took a chance thinking that he tested with a faulty battery under 9v. When the unit arrive, I hooked it up and what-do-you-know, it works. Below is a photo of the unit.

I also picked up a Maxon D&S and D&S II for 3000 jpy each. The owner had the similar condition thinking the unit did not work, however it worked just fine when I got it into my hands.

Now I own 5 Maxon pedals.
