CL Bargain: MXR Carbon Copy, Boss FRV-1, Boss TR-2, Danelectro Rocky Road

$140 for Boss TR-2 Tremolo, Boss FRV-1 Fender Reverb and MXR Carbon Copy. When I asked why the owner was selling, he said he has Parkinsons disease and is letting go of his gear. What do you say to that?!?! Anyway, I think he under priced his gear so scooped up these three.

I asked him to throw in a few patch cables and a slide to sweeten the deal. Also he offered to the Danelectro Rock Road to anyone who wanted it.

I ended up selling the MXR and Boss pedals for $300 total, which means I picked up the TR-2 and Danelectro and $150! Craigslist at it's finest!

Fender Classic Players 60s Stratocaster

cl@$560 with Fender Soft Case. I nabbed this one after reading about the specs and reviews. I also kinda rushed it because it was just before Pri and Eno arrived to CA.

2019.05.21: Sold for $672 ($699 + $50 shipping - shipping/insurance and commision) netting about $112.
I really liked this guitar, but just dont dig the gloss clear coat.

Great shape and barely used. Thought I'd have more time to play, but I spend all my time in the outdoors and simply stated this does not get use. Only had for about a year.

AnalogMan Astrotone Fuzz Clone

Cloned the AstroTone using 2N4401 for Q1 and a BC550B for Q2. First build traded for a Guyatone VT3 Tremolo and an Ernie Ball 25 Volume pedal.

Boss Angry Driver JB-2

After selling 3 Broadcast and 1 Echo Dream, I decided to splurge on a real pedal, the Boss Angry Driver. I am thinking of a 3 Boss pedal setup  consisting of CS-3 -> JB-2 -> DD-7. This makes for a simple concise combination not to mention I have a boss carrying case. JB-2 is in transit, so I will upload pics after it arrives. Here is the JB-2 as advertised on cl that I picked up for $140 shipped. The original asking price was $150, but I was able to eke out $10.
