Classic 60's Player Strat Sonic Blue

Nash Telecaster

Is it real? Paid $1750 with meetup at Draft Republic.

Nash Telecaster - $2,000 (Encinitas)

Here is an early Nash Tele in Seafoam Green. It was made around 2004. Nash put stickers on some of their early guitars and this one on the back hails from "Munson Steamship, New York." The finish is mildly relic'd, more like an old used guitar than the current craze of extreme relic'ing. Like most Nash guitars that I've played the neck is full and substantial, and the back of the neck has been sanded down to a worn finish that feels great. The Lollar pickups sparkle and chime. This guitar plays and sounds like a great Tele should. Comes with a Nash hardshell case.

When I asked about the frets, he replied

The frets were dressed less than a year ago by Bill Nash himself. The Nash company has the best customer service I've ever experienced. Here is the story. When I acquired this guitar at the Costa Mesa guitar show a number of years ago, it had a Fender logo on the headstock like most of the early Nash guitars. But I was told it was a Nash, not a Fender.

So I contacted Bill Nash and sent him photos of this guitar. Bill confirmed that it was one of his early Teles, and offered to change the headstock logo to the proper Nash logo if I would send the guitar up to his shop in Seattle. He also offered to dress the frets and do a complete set-up free of charge. I sent him the Tele in one of my gig bags (well-packed in a proper box of course!). It was returned a couple of weeks later with a new logo, dressed frets, set-up to perfection, in a new Nash alligator-styled hardshell case which looks very cool.

Communication with Bill's shop was excellent and of course their work far exceeded my expectations.

CL Strat

$300 with Whammy and missing back plate. Picked it up in Poway while waiting for Noeh's Saturday classes to end. Took care of some errands in Poway, so turned out to be an efficient transaction. Expecting $500. Might try to pick up a cheap backplate on eBay.

Ended up Sold for $499 so netted about $150. Oh, swapted the tuners with non-staggered.
