Fluke 115
I have been on a cold streak missing out on a Jazz Bass and Tele Custom. This time picked up a nice Fluke Multimeter for $60. Comes in handy when troubleshooting pedal builds.

Zoom G3n
Picked this one up on Reverb.com for $100 shipped. I used Reverb bucks, so ended up to be $99. I chose the non-pedal version because I heard the volume is digitally controlled, and also I like the look of the non-pedal version.
The main objective is to use it for earphone practice. Using a pedalboard either requires a headphone pedal, but needs an amp/cab/ mic sim pedal to make it sound "better". Or run it through a DAW and add those features. So enter the Zoom G3n unit with a boat load of features including earphone out, amp/cab/mic sims. Along with that are the array of effects. eventually I hope to pair this up with a partial pedalboard on the front end for compression and dirt.
We will see how his plays out.

Pedalboard Prototype attempt #583
I have been brewing a cardboard pedalboard with minimal results, so I am determined to get a prototype done. I found this custom pedalboard online to use as a model for my prototype. I keep coming back to a 2 tier design because alot of junk like the power supply/distribution can be stored underneath the platform.

LovePedal Pedal Swap
Working another cl pedal swap.
Outgoing:
Outgoing:
- Mosferatu (clone)
- FuzzFace (Mosky clone)
- Lovepedal Amp 50
- EHX Big Muff Pi
Lovepedal Amp 50 & Electro-harmonix Little Big Muff Pi - $1 (Encinitas)
Two amazing OD/distortion pedals!
Lovepedal Amp 50 - $65
Electro-harmonix Little Big Muff Pi - $50
From Musician's Friend site:
"Lovepedal's Amp 50 overdrive effect pedal is the most compact version of the Church Of Tone series. The circuit has been modified to give cleaner tones at the bottom of the gain/bias sweep and dirtier tones at the top. It can function as a clean boost, dirty boost, stand alone OD or gnarly fuzz box depending on the amplifier used, guitar vol. adjustment and gain/bias control setting. This Lovepedal overdrive effect will also stack unbelievably well with other drive units leading to increased sustain, tone and overall dynamics."
"Little Big Muff puts this legendary distortion/sustainer in a more compact and rugged die-cast box, but the sound is true to the 1970 original--silky smooth violin-like sustain that lets you hold a note for an entire set. Sustain, Tone, and Volume knobs."
