The Filpper gets Flipped - Ibanez JSM10

Just as I flipped a Partscaster for $600, this one gets listed and I could not resist. It was originally listed for $725, but the seller went down to $650 and eventually $600. Meeting in Encinitas so not too painful. I am trying to get better and jazz so looking for some inspiration. Looks like I might have to unload the Epiphone and Coronado to have some peace at heart.

FENDER JAZZ BASS - $250 (ESCONDIDO) 

selling a mexican fender jazz bass for $250. needs a new nut on the neck which will run you about $10 and some super glue. a new pack of strings would do you well too (you’ll need new ones anyways if you put a new nut on the neck) it’s a great bass i just don’t use it much anymore. it works fine, sounds great, nice feel to it. you can try it out before buying.....just make sure to bring an amplifier with you.

I would recommend starting with standards because they are relatively simple and will teach you the form, which you need to know before you can really get into more complex stuff. These have been recorded a million times so rather than suggest specific records I'm going to actually suggest that you listen to various versions of these to get an idea of how fluid it can be. Fender Jazz Bass Refurbish Project

I decided to redo a Fender MIM Jazz Bass purchased in a package deal. The neck turned out to be usable and not needing replacement from my judgment. Necessary work includes missing screws for the pickguard and a broken nut replacement. The pickups also have missing mounting screws and springs. The pickups themselves are third party "Lace Sensor Man O War" which I plan to replace and list separately. Even though not really needed, the white pickguard will be replaced with red tortoise and the bridge will be replaced with a psuedo-heavy-mass chinese knockoff for show. Target is to get $350 - $400 for the guitar and $75 for the pickups.
